Job summary

PayJunction is seeking an Account Coordinator to guide merchant onboarding, collect information, and submit applications. You will provide high‑quality customer service, address inquiries, resolve issues, and build strong merchant relationships to support growth.

You will work in a Flex First environment, with options to work from our Santa Barbara office or remotely from home. Eligible states include CA, IL, TX, MN, CO, GA, NY, MA, CT.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in customer service or related role.
• Experience with merchant onboarding or account management preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Mac operating systems preferred.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, Zoom and Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the new merchant application process from start to finish.
• Follow up with merchants by phone and email to collect missing information.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of documents collected.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication among sales, customer success and underwriting.
• Onboard new merchants with collaboration across teams.
• Handle inbound calls and route leads appropriately.
• Maintain a 30+ merchant applications pipeline.
• Communicate with clients daily to ensure satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
• Document tasks and track projects in internal systems.
• Protect data privacy and stay organized.
