Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to partner with the Store Team Leader and drive merchandising strategy, floorset execution, and guest experience.

You will coach and develop a team to deliver AEO brand standards, ensure replenishment, and keep the store guest-ready every day. You’ll recruit, train, and provide ongoing feedback, while maintaining daily operations, visual standards, and safety.

Qualifications

• You've led teams in a retail management role previously
• You can multi-task and have attention to detail; priority-setting and time management are your strong suits
• You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a key LOD by maximizing floor and fitting room productivity and building guest loyalty.
• Coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards.
• Lead and develop your team, holding them to customer service standards on Salesfloor and in Fitting Rooms.
• Recruit and hire strong talent and invest in training and development.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, touchbases, and reviews.
• Execute daily operations, maintain visual standards, and keep fitting rooms guest-ready.
• Uphold store safety, asset protection standards, and compliance with policies.
