Job summary

AEO Inc. in Gurnee, IL is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader who will be the Store Team Leader's go-to for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy.

You will train and coach your team to uphold AEO Visual standards, execute floorsets, ensure guest-ready stores, and lead replenishment with a focus on guest experience. You will recruit, develop and coach talent, provide real-time feedback, and drive key KPIs while aligning with our values and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a retail management role.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as Leader on Duty by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and analyzing trends to inform decisions.
• Coach team to deliver the guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards and visual standards.
• Motivate and develop team; uphold customer service standards on the sales floor and fitting room.
• Recruit and hire strong talent; train and develop staff to sustain high service levels.
• Provide ongoing feedback with real-time coaching; create development plans and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain daily operational procedures; ensure fitting rooms and zones stay guest-ready and compliant with brand standards.
• Ensure store safety and Asset Protection compliance and adherence to policies.
