Job summary

TJ Maxx in the United States is hiring for an associate role focused on receiving and merchandising standards. You will help ensure efficient processing, excellent customer service, and a clean, organized store environment.

You will train team members and support management in daily operations. The position requires a flexible schedule, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality.
• Manages truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitors productivity and coaches as necessary.
• Organizes back stock for replenishment.
• Maintains merchandising signage standards and backroom cleanliness.
• Complies with recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable.
• Communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates.
• Provides feedback and recognition; supports training needs with Management.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures; promotes loyalty programs and shrink-reduction efforts.
• Promotes safety and maintains a safe work environment.
