Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group seeks a dynamic leader to head the Elk Grove Merchandising Team, overseeing a network of merchandisers across Elk Grove and the Sacramento region. The role collaborates with sales and delivery teams to optimize processes and drive superior customer service.

The position requires a mix of education and experience, leadership capability, and physical stamina to lift and move equipment as needed, with ongoing opportunities for career growth within Reyes’ California network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2–4 years related experience and 0–1+ years of leadership experience
• HS/GED with 5–7+ years of specific experience and 2–3+ years of leadership experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age and capable of lifting 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 175 lbs with keg products or pallet jacks

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to improve processes for productivity and customer service
• Train and develop merchandisers daily on standards, waste reduction, safety, and policies
• Ensure wide and consistent usage of company systems to monitor operations and reinforce policy compliance
• Assign and adjust work to meet sales, delivery and customer demands
• Conduct work-withs/go-behinds to monitor productivity, safety and service standards
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned

Lead Our Elk Grove Merchandising Team

• Lead a team supporting retail customers throughout Elk Grove and the surrounding Sacramento area.
• Work with leading beverage brands sold across grocery, convenience, and retail channels.
• Based out of our new Sacramento facility featuring modern employee amenities.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to improve processes that drive productivity and maintain excellent customer service
• Train and develop merchandisers daily on merchandising standards, waste reduction, safety, and company policies
• Ensure wide and consistent usage of company systems to monitor operational effectiveness, reinforce policy compliance, and support performance expectations across assigned routes
• Assign and adjust work as needed to meet sales, delivery and customer demands
• Conduct "work-withs","go behinds", to survey and monitor employee productivity, safety and customer service standards
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience and 2 to 3 plus years of leadership experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 175 pounds when handling keg products or using pallet jacks/loading tool
