Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC, home to Express and Bonobos, invites rising juniors, seniors and graduates to join the Merchandising Summer Internship in New York City. From June 2 through August 5, 2027, you will support product launches, participate in the product life cycle from concept to distribution, and learn from mentors while collaborating on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support on-time, seamless product launches by ensuring integrity of style information and attribution.
• Engage in product life-cycle activities from concept, through design and sourcing, to customer distribution.
• Understand customer needs via patterning of trends, competition, and in-store feedback/experience.
• Track trends via runway, aspirational brands, and social platforms.
• Collaborate on site merchandising to support online product presentations for our DTC business model.

Overview

The PHOENIX Internship Program is a 10-week, paid program that offers rising Junior and Senior undergraduates and graduate students the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to a multi-brand retail company. The internship program provides hands-on experience in an area of interest and cross-functional collaboration while developing valuable professional skills.

The Summer 2027 Internship Program takes place from June 2nd to August 5th. This internship is located at our office in New York, New York.

Responsibilities

What will you be working on this Summer?

• Support on-time, seamless product launches by ensuring integrity of style information and attribution
• Hands-on immersion to a product life-cycle, such as what it takes to create, edit and produce an assortment framework from initial concept, through design and sourcing, and ending in customer distribution
• Focus on understanding our customer by competitive patterning, trend patterning, and in-store feedback/experience
• Consistently look forward regarding trends through runway, aspirational brands, and social platforms
• Collaborate on site merchandising by supporting online product presentations tailored to our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business model

Pay Range
