Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC offers a 10-week Design Summer Internship to support the Bonobos brand at our New York office. The program runs from June 2 through August 5 and is a paid internship emphasizing hands-on exposure to the product design lifecycle.

Interns will collaborate with the Bonobos design team on trend research, tech packs, and seasonal sketches, and will attend fittings to learn about fit and production. Relocation to the NY office is required.

Qualifications

• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week)
• Embrace our four-days-in-office approach
• Relocate to office location (Housing accommodations not provided)
• Commit to the entire 10 weeks of the program (June 2nd - August 5th)
• Preferred GPA at or above 3.2

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Bonobos design team as they build the seasonal line
• Aspirations/competitive research through selecting trends applicable to Bonobos
• Design research including sourcing of images, fabrics, trims, prints, colors, and linings
• Learn about the unique Bonobos business model and customer insights that influence our designs
• Develop technical sketches and illustrations for seasonal presentations both by hand and on Adobe Illustrator
• Attend fittings and learn about fit and product construction
• Organize samples into categories for easy reference during key meetings and working sessions
• Assist the design team building its seasonal tech packs in PLM tool

The PHOENIX Internship Program is a 10-week, paid program that offers rising Junior and Senior undergraduates and graduate students the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to a multi-brand retail company. The internship program provides hands‑on experience in an area of interest and cross‑functional collaboration while developing valuable professional skills.

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. Pay Range

$23.00 - $30.00
