Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Marinette, Wisconsin is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations to meet company standards.

The role requires prior retail and management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise planned layouts.
