Dollar Tree in Madison, Alabama is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team, assisting the Store Manager in directing a dynamic group of associates and delivering a positive customer experience. You’ll focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations to meet company standards.

Ideal candidates have retail and leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and work in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentability throughout the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
