Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Montgomery, AL to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations.

You will assist with opening/closing, stockroom maintenance, and ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment while upholding company standards and policies. This is a full-time, on-site role offering growth opportunities within a values-driven retailer.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform stocking and movement tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Ensure store areas are clean, neat, and presentable.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
