Job summary

American Greetings Corporation is seeking a Support Merchandiser to service retail locations around Fredericksburg, VA. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and related items on a route-based schedule.

Starting pay is $15.30 per hour with increases to $16.20 after 6 months and $17.00 after one year. Weekly hours average 8, potentially 15 during holidays, with flexible scheduling and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or store service.
• Ability to work independently on a defined route and manage time.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Availability during daytime hours, including some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with focused time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Provide availability for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or product assembly.
