Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to keep the front showroom stocked, fronted, and clean, while assisting customers and completing sales preparations. You will greet customers on the sales floor and help locate merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist.

You will also manage stock, update displays, adjust pricing, and support weekly merchandising tasks. Occasional cashier duties or delivery driving may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if needed.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted and fully stocked; support O’Reilly Image Maker tasks.
• Update displays and planograms; update price labels and sale signs as required.
• Remove sale materials when promotions end and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Collaborate with the store manager on weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or operate a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
