Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Merchandising Associate (Vendor Paid Merchandiser) to drive sales and execute strategic merchandising in-store. You will suggest vendor products and maintain high standards to create a memorable shopping experience for customers.

We seek flexible team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple tasks, and work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous retail experience.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle electronic devices with no problem.
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by sharing product knowledge, trends and style inspiration.
• Merchandise new deliveries from vendor(s) and follow brand-specific merchandise execution guides and standards.
• Communicate customer needs and shopping patterns to store leadership and vendor(s).
• Work with store teams to drive best practices for sales and execution.
• Ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Follow store's audit policies and procedures.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
