Overall Job Summary
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store specific measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives.
- Perform accurate cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang store signage.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value & Appreciate.
- Ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred.
- Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
- Variable shifts, often 4+ hours, may include long periods of travel between stores.
- Travel in personal vehicle required.
- Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Ability to lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, bending, climbing ladders.
- Operate store equipment and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills.
- Complete training successfully.
- Operate equipment like forklifts if qualified.
- Other physical activities including sitting, walking, and driving required.
