The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to execute tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following:

• Maintain regular attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, subject to business needs.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and promptly.
• Perform measurements and inventory counts, including cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes accurately.
• Hang store signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate the customer.
• Ensure a memorable shopping experience that sets us apart.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 or older.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing, and counting skills are essential regardless of education level.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance required.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor areas are hard surfaces with adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull merchandise with equipment, lift overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, and climb ladders frequently.
• Move throughout the store for entire shifts.
• Read, write, and count accurately; communicate effectively.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete training successfully.
