The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. The role also includes supporting tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The Team Member interacts with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise required by business needs.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and promptly.
• Perform store-specific measurements and accurate inventory counts, including cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes timely and accurately.
• Hang store signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Ensure planogram integrity through detailed recovery and review.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service following GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution with minimal conflict.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor lots with hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Effective communication with team members and customers.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete all training successfully.
