Overall Job Summary
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store specific measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives.
- Perform accurate cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang store signage.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, and Appreciate.
- Ensure a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots with hard surfaces.
- Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
- Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required.
- Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders, and operate store equipment.
- Read, write, and count accurately; communicate effectively.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry.
- Operate equipment like forklifts if trained.
- Sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach overhead, and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Move throughout the store safely and efficiently.
