Overall Job Summary

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks like merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a High Volume FAST Team Member, you should be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Working scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise needed.
• Communicating proactively with the District FAST Supervisor about work progress and issues.
• Completing planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintaining visual merchandise standards and performing store measurements.
• Completing inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Executing the Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes.
• Hanging store signage and assembling merchandise and fixtures.
• Performing recovery and review of planogram integrity.
• Delivering Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend, and Add Value.
• Ensuring a differentiated shopping experience.
• Providing peak coverage as needed and performing other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

Prior retail or merchandising experience is required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks independently.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
• Hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt; adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours.
• Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Moving and transferring merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Using equipment to move heavy merchandise.
• Occasional overhead lifting.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete all training successfully.
