Overall Job Summary

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
  • Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
  • Complete store and cycle counts for inventories.
  • Perform price changes and hang signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
  • Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Ensure planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate.
  • Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 or older.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential regardless of education level.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
  • Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal assistance required to complete assignments.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
  • Hard surface floors, adequate lighting, and temperature.
  • Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and promotion of a safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
  • Push/pull merchandise with proper equipment.
  • Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
  • Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
  • Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
  • Handle contact with birds/poultry.
  • Complete required training successfully.
