Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion and issues.
  • Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
  • Maintain visual merchandise standards.
  • Perform store measurements and layout initiatives.
  • Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
  • Hang signage, assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
  • Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
  • Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate.
  • Ensure a differentiated shopping experience.
  • Provide coverage during peak times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Experience in retail and/or merchandising is required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
  • Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
  • Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
  • Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often long distances.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Travel as needed.
  • Push, pull, lift (up to 50 pounds), and reach merchandise.
  • Stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and operate store equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle contact with birds/poultry.
