Overall Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure a differentiated shopping experience for customers.
• Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields.

• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel, push/pull up to 2,000 pounds, lift overhead, and perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Communicate effectively and complete necessary training.
