Job summary

Meijer is seeking Merchandising Replenishment Analyst Trainee candidates for the Grand Rapids, MI corporate office. The role, internally known as a Business Analyst, starts as a trainee during a 13-week program with mentorship from a current analyst.

The position focuses on inventory management, replenishment, and product flow to meet customer needs. After training, trainees transition into the Business Analyst role with a hybrid schedule (in-office Mon-Wed, Thu-Fri remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in a four-year program with expected graduation date.
• At least 1 year of merchandising/retail experience preferred.
• Ability to gather and interpret data for reports.
• Knowledge of the retail industry and category dynamics.
• Results-focused with ability to drive positive change within the team.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for inventory management, replenishment and product flow execution.
• Perform demand forecasting, inventory deployment and allocation analysis.
• Collaborate with buyers on advertising, digital and visual strategies.
