Job summary

Homesense, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is hiring a flexible retail associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards while delivering excellent customer experiences in a high-volume store.

You will engage customers, maintain organized backrooms, tag and code merchandise, and train teammates on merchandising principles. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with management to maintain flow of goods to the sales floor
• Monitors productivity and coaches as needed
• Promotes safety and maintains backroom organization and cleanliness
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and customer service excellence
