Job summary

Sysco in College Park, GA is seeking a Merchandising Support Associate to work closely with the Operating Company departments, assisting merchandising activities and resolving sales questions with detailed knowledge of products, systems, and tools.

You will act as a liaison between Sales, Buyers and Category Management, handling inquiries, tracking orders, and ensuring timely updates, shipments and documentation for efficient merchandising operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years experience in merchandising, sales and/or customer service.
• Experience in retail, wholesale or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising point of contact for sales, national accounts, and health care account inquiries.
• Communicate supplier, product, or promotional updates to sales based on merchandising/marketing info.
• Track and trace special orders and inbound logistics for the sales team.
• Assist sales with basic inquiries and overflow support.
• Monitor the drop ship process to ensure orders are shipped and invoiced promptly.
• Process special orders (Non-Stocks) and manage related communications.
• Handle demand status orders and ensure timely execution of related activities.
• Maintain documentation and proprietary charts with approvals from management.
