Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Dallas seeks an organized operations liaison responsible for maintaining profitable value-added, wholesale and PRDC business with existing Sysco customers. You will establish and maintain relationships with merchandisers at each Sysco OpCo to deliver excellent customer service and coordinate across value-added and operations teams.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience equivalent.
• 1 year of sales or operational distribution experience preferred.
• MS Office experience.
• Strong numeric and alphanumeric data entry skills.
• Detail-oriented and precise.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Keying in orders from each OpCo for value-added and distribution items.
• Communicating all orders to each department in time for all cut-off.
• Distribute pick tickets and load sheets to Sysco pullers once orders are in and complete.
• Give direction to Sysco pullers for changes to orders, cross-dock information, and driver schedules.
• Handle reporting requests, scheduled and ad-hoc.
• Maintain relationships with all OpCo departments to ensure on-time loading of outbound trucks.
• Develop relationships with produce managers, sales leadership and merchandising teams.
• Facilitate pricing of all products from value-added and distribution areas and communicate weekly prices.
• Communicate any market issues.
