Sysco Atlanta, LLC is seeking a merchandising support specialist to assist the sales and merchandising teams, acting as a liaison between OpCo Sales, Buyers and Category Management to handle inquiries and ensure timely responses, order tracking, and price updates.

You will manage merchandising scripts, process non-stock orders, and monitor fulfillment, assisting with overflow sales support while maintaining documentation and clear communications across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years experience in purchasing, merchandising, sales or customer service.
• Experience in retail, wholesale or distribution environment preferred.
• Strong communicator with relationship-building skills across stakeholders.
• Proficient Excel skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Merchandising point of contact for sales, national accounts, and health care account inquiries.
• Communicate supplier, product or promotional urgent updates to sales based on merchandising/marketing input.
• Track and trace special orders, demand status late inbound trucks, and other operational requests for the sales team.
• Assist sales on basic inquiries.
• Monitor the drop ship process to ensure orders are shipped and invoiced promptly.
• Process special orders (Non-Stocks).
• Manage demand status orders and ensure timely execution of confirmations, receiving, and allocations.
• Manage new item stocking request process and maintain documentation.
• Create and maintain proprietary charts per approval levels.
• Process merchandising scripts including price management and market costs.
• Handle overflow sales support.
