Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Harahan, LA is seeking a merchandising support associate to assist the merchandising department and support OpCo sales with product, systems, and tools knowledge. This role acts as a liaison among OpCo Sales, Buyers, and Category Management for merchandising activities.

You will communicate urgent updates to sales, track orders, and ensure timely execution of requests. A high school diploma is required, with 1+ years in purchasing, merchandising, sales or customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required to perform duties.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising point of contact for sales, national accounts, and health care account inquiries.
• Communicate urgent supplier/product/promotional updates to sales based on information from merchandising and marketing.
• Track and trace special orders, monitor inbound trucks, and support the sales team with operational requests.
• Assist sales on basic inquiries.
• Monitor the drop ship process to ensure orders are shipped and invoiced promptly.
• Process special orders (Non-Stocks).
• Handle demand status orders and ensure timely execution of confirmations, receiving, and allocations.
• Manage the processes flow for new item stocking requests and maintain documentation.
• Create/maintain proprietary charts per approvals.
• Process merchandising related scripts including price management and market costs.
• Handle overflow sales support.
