Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Brownsville, TX to partner with the Store Manager to lead a team and drive merchandise flow and freight processing.

You will handle opening/closing, stockroom upkeep, customer interactions, and compliance with company policies, while ensuring a safe, fast-paced shopping environment and accurate execution of merchandising plans.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Manage freight flow and process receipts/returns.
• Stock merchandise and maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Plan and merchandise items and clip strips as directed; implement monthly Sales Planners.
