Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Las Vegas is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to work closely with OpCo departments, assisting merchandising with transactional activities and resolving questions using product knowledge, systems, and tools.

The role acts as a liaison between OpCo Sales, Buyers, and Category Management; you will support sales inquiries, track orders, manage non-stock orders, and ensure accurate documentation and timely execution of merchandising requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in purchasing, merchandising, sales or customer service.
• Experience in retail, wholesale or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising contact for sales, national accounts, and health care inquiries.
• Communicate supplier/product/promo updates to sales based on merchandising/marketing info.
• Track and trace special orders, late inbound trucks, and other operational requests.
• Assist sales on basic inquiries.
• Monitor drop ship process to ensure orders are shipped and invoiced promptly.
• Process special orders (Non-Stocks).
• Handle demand status orders and ensure timely execution of related activities.
• Manage processes for new item stocking requests and maintain documentation.
• Create/maintain proprietary charts per approval.
• Process merchandising scripts including price management and market costs.
• Handle overflow sales support.
