You will assist with all store functions, open/close procedures, protect assets, maintain store standards, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with receiving and return of merchandise.
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise needs.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise is arranged.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
