Job summary

Lids Sports Group invites students to an internship at the corporate office in Indianapolis. You will rotate through merchandising, buying and planning, while building reports and presenting insights to leaders. Mentors guide real projects, with exposure to retail, sports and fashion in a fast-paced environment.

The program emphasizes practical experience, teamwork and leadership. Housing support is provided for non-local interns, and you’ll gain marketable skills for a career in retail.

Qualifications

3.0 GPA minimum required.
Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or higher in a related field.
On-site internship at the Indianapolis corporate office; relocation may be required.
Expected to graduate between Dec 2027 and May 2028.

Responsibilities

Rotate through merchandising, buying, planning and allocation.
Develop reporting analyzing sales, inventory and trends.
Attend product meetings and assist with assortment reviews.
Research trends in licensed headwear and apparel.
Complete a summer project and present findings to leadership.
Visit stores to analyze product mix and competition.
