Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Orangeburg, SC. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and facilitating freight processing to keep the sales floor stocked and appealing.

You will supervise daily store operations, assist with open/close procedures, protect assets, and uphold safety and company policies while delivering friendly, professional service to customers and colleagues. This is a full-time role with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales‑effective items
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
