Responsibilities

• Support Sales with order entry and management of decorated product orders with high accuracy.
• Create and submit purchase orders to vendors and manage order details through production.
• Coordinate artwork approvals and pre-production samples with internal and external decorators.
• Coordinate with In-house Decoration on internally produced orders to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with decorators, vendors, customers, and internal teams to move orders forward.
• Monitor production and shipping schedules to meet in-hands dates.
• Maintain accurate order records, documentation, and status updates.
• Identify potential delays and coordinate solutions.
• Assist in expanding in-house decoration product assortment.
• Support departmental initiatives and process improvements.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Merchandise Decoration Specialist to support the execution of branded merchandise programs from product selection through delivery. This role works closely with our Sales, Merchandising, In-house Decoration, and vendor partners to ensure promotional products are accurately ordered, decorated, produced, and delivered on time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Support the Sales teams with order entry and management of all decorated promotional product orders with a high level of accuracy, coordinating orders with both in-house and third-party decorators
• Create and submit purchase orders to vendors and manage order details throughout the production process.
• Coordinate artwork approvals and logo pre-production samples with in-house and third-party decorators to ensure decoration requirements are accurate and approved before production.
• Coordinate with the In-house Decoration team on orders being produced internally, ensuring all product, artwork, quantity, and production details are accurate.
• Communicate with third-party decorators, vendors, customers, and internal teams to keep orders moving and resolve issues as they arise.
• Monitor production and shipping schedules for in-house and third-party decorated orders to ensure merchandise arrives by required in-hands dates.
• Maintain accurate order records, documentation, and status updates throughout the order lifecycle.
• Proactively identify potential delays, issues, or gaps and help coordinate solutions.
• Work with the In-house Decoration team on an ongoing basis to identify products that may be good additions to our in-house decorated product assortment.
• Support departmental initiatives and contribute to the continued improvement of merchandising and decoration processes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, order entry, purchasing, decoration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Familiarity with promotional product decoration processes and artwork requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn product, order management, and internal systems.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to jump in and help.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

• Familiarity with common decoration methods such as embroidery, screen printing, laser engraving, UV printing, DTF/DTG, and heat transfer.
• Experience working with an in-house or third-party decoration/production partner.
• Familiarity with promotional product vendors and suppliers.
• Experience working in a high-volume order environment.
• An interest in products and identifying items that could be good candidates for in-house decoration.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Sales can rely on you to accurately and efficiently manage decoration orders from entry through production and delivery. You’ll keep details organized, communicate proactively, and help resolve issues before they impact the order.

You’ll also partner with the In-house Decoration team to identify products that could be added to our decoration capabilities.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.
