Job summary

Catalyst Brands seeks an Assistant Manager of Merchandise to lead associates, uphold merchandising standards, and drive profitable sales growth. You will train staff, manage inventory, and execute sales-building programs to enhance the customer experience.

You will oversee in-store execution, customer service excellence, and omnichannel initiatives while driving performance across specialty businesses like Fine Jewelry and Windows & Mattress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills.
• Proven ability to train and develop associates.
• Ability to lead and engage teams to meet performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise Execution – Owns in-stock levels through replenishment and maintains high presentation standards.
• Customer Service and Sales – Models and coaches for outstanding customer service and engages customers.
• Omnichannel – Supports Omnichannel initiatives and coaches on processes.
• Specialty Businesses – Drives sales in Fine jewelry, Window & Mattress through events and leadership.
• Team Development – Partners with store management to hire and train hourly associates.
• Performance Standards – Meets standards on shrink, safety, scheduling, engagement, and profitability.
