Job summary

TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate for TJ Maxx in the United States. The role focuses on executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring an excellent customer experience and a clean, organized store.

You will train Associates, manage merchandise flow from trucks to shelves, and maintain signage and backroom standards. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required; prior retail and leadership exposure helps success.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures efficient processing.
• Engages customers to provide an excellent shopping experience and keeps store clean.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising principles and processes.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Coordinates with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to sales floor.
• Maintains backroom organization, signage, and safety standards.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
