Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., in Birmingham, AL, seeks a store associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain a clean, organized store. You'll engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and support store operations across departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model customer experience best practices with customers.
• Ring purchases/returns and count change accurately.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Uphold merchandising standards and procedures.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Participate in store recovery and maintenance of store cleanliness.
• Support safety and loss prevention efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
