Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Graham, NC store team. You will work alongside the Store Manager to lead a dynamic group of associates, focusing on merchandising and freight processing to create positive community experiences.

Your role includes daily tasks, safety adherence, and maintaining store standards, while driving sales through effective product placement and customer service. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure a clean, neat, and presentable store environment.
• Support positive, safe, and respectful interactions with customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandising.
