Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional community experiences. The role focuses on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations.

You'll supervise duties, ensure safety and policy adherence, and contribute to maintaining attractive sales floors and stockrooms. This position requires energy, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure store areas are clean, neat, and presentable.
• Interact with customers, associates, and leaders in a positive, respectful manner.
• Assist Store Manager with duties including freight flow and merchandise ordering.
• Plan and maintain monthly Sales Planners and merchandise needs.
