Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Burien, WA, to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive community experiences. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and executing store operations to meet company standards.

You will assist with daily duties, supervise opening/closing, protect assets, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical activities as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Keep store clean and presentable and ensure safety.
• Assistant Store Manager duties including managing freight flow and merchandising.
