Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Mason, OH. You will join the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and focus on merchandising and processing freight, ensuring a smooth, customer-friendly shopping experience.

You’ll assist with all store functions, perform opening/closing duties, protect assets, and maintain store standards while interacting professionally with customers and colleagues. This full-time role offers growth in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
