Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center in Texas is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to provide administrative and customer service support to the Supply Chain Team, with emphasis on accurate data entry of sales and purchase contracts and spreadsheet management.

The role requires strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, teamwork, and excellent communication, with daily use of contract management systems and Microsoft Office; Tableau experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associates degree and/or grain accounting experience preferred.
• Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and superior customer service.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily data entry into contract management system for sales and purchases.
• Reconcile contract balances with suppliers and customers throughout contract terms.
• Assist in development and maintenance of reports from the contract management system.
• Reconcile and balance futures and options with cash positions.
• Provide backup support to the Accounting Department as needed.

This role will provide administrative and customer service support to the Supply Chain Team. Accurate and timely entry of all sales and purchase contract information is essential for this position. The individual in this position must have an understanding of good accounting practices and be able work with and develop spreadsheets. This role will also be providing a high level of customer service with both customers and suppliers.Responsibilities and DutiesDaily data entry into contract management system.
