Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a motivated Merchandising Assistant to support product placement, inventory control, and a superior shopping experience at our Edison, NJ location. The role involves vendor communication, PO processing, and coordinating with teams to maintain accurate product information and pricing.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree, is proficient in Microsoft Office, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist in revising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, and timely processing.
• Follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address any merchandising-related issues and provide necessary support.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to update product information, pricing, and promotions on various platforms.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the merchandising department's day-to-day operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our dynamic team at a large Asian grocery retail corporation. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising department in optimizing product placement, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your efforts will contribute to the overall success and growth of our business in the competitive grocery market.

Responsibilities

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
