Job summary

Pepsi of Greenville seeks a Merchandiser (Operations Trainee) to manage merchandise, stock shelves and build displays across beverage accounts in the Greenville area.

You will coordinate with delivery drivers and presales reps, organize backrooms, and ensure products are rotated and presented per standards, including weekend shifts.

This role requires reliable attendance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read manuals and follow guidelines; training provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work reliably and independently with minimal daily supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Regular, reliable attendance and transportation to multiple store locations.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Proof of insurance meeting company requirements.
• Retail or grocery experience preferred but not required.

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products according to published merchandising standards in all beverage locations throughout the account.
• Organizes, rotates, and maintains backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date products to the warehouse.
• Repacks damaged product for sale when possible; arranges credits for product that cannot be repacked with pre-sales representative.
• Builds customer relationships at the store level; delivers best-in-class customer service through communication, building rapport, and showing attentiveness to customer needs.
• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; ensuring your full attention is given to the account at all times.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
