Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking store team members to provide excellent customer service and help merchandise, stock, and support online orders. Roles may be part-time or full-time and involve occasional delivery support.

Candidates should be 21+, have 1–3 years retail experience, and be flexible to evenings/weekends. Training on wine, spirits, and beer will expand product knowledge and promotions.

About the Role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. They maximize product inventory and support online business operations to ensure a positive shopping experience. Part‑time and full‑time positions focus on merchandising responsibilities, but may also include sales, front‑end, or other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize, distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, and place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and providing product and service information.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies, procedures, and traffic & safety laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail; 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

Must walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day; lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50lb. overhead repeatedly; may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions during the workday.
