Job summary

Total Wine & More seeks Store Team Members in Tampa to support merchandising and customer service across the store and online operations. Internally referred to as Merchandiser, you'll handle inventory, displays, signage, curbside orders, and deliveries where assigned.

You'll greet customers, share product knowledge, participate in wine, spirits, and beer training, and maintain safety and compliance with alcohol-sale laws. This role offers PTO, store discounts, health plans, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function
• If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role
