Job summary

McClatchy Media is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in the Richmond, KY area. The role requires travel between accounts, with a 100% merchandising focus and adherence to the schedule set by the Supervisor of Merchandising.

The position is non-exempt and contingent on background check, 4-panel drug test, and MVR clearance. Excellent communication and reliability are essential components of success.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.

• Reliable transportation for travel to stores.
• Familiar with Movista and company apps; must have phone/tablet.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise stores per planograms and standards.
• Replenish products safely and efficiently; assemble displays.
• Service stores on scheduled weekdays; report hours using apps.
• Coordinate with Supervisor for overtime or hours beyond schedule.
• Record work hours and duties as requested by store personnel.

Compensation

• Competitive Wage $15 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.

Schedule

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel:

Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory

Requirements

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Summary Of Responsibilities

100% Merchandising

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.

Other duties as assigned.
