Job summary

McClatchy Media is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple stores in Clarksville, TN. This on-site role requires travel between accounts with paid travel time and a competitive hourly wage starting at $15 per hour.

Responsibilities include merchandising to company standards, stocking, and coordinating with stores and the Supervisor of Merchandising. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising in a retail environment following store and corporate standards.
• Safely replenish product and assemble/position displays as needed.
• Service all assigned stores per Supervisor's schedule; obtain approval for overtime.
• Record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Communicate with store personnel and Supervisor about duties.

Compensation

• Competitive Wage $15 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel:

Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory

Summary Of Responsibilities

100% Merchandising

• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.

Other duties as assigned.
