Central Pet Distribution is Hiring Part Time Merchandisers! 15-20 Hours Per Week, Weekends and Evenings Off!

Do you love pets and enjoy working independently? Our growing company is seeking experienced merchandisers to visit and service retail accounts. Our Pet Distribution team supplies our customers with top pet brands. With a set schedule and weekly route in a designated area, merchandisers ensure products are on store shelves. If you're customer service oriented, organized, dependable, and have great time management skills, this may be the job for you!

Location:

Cincinnati, OH area

Shift Details:

Part-time - 15-20 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive, unpack, and scan inbound inventory for retail locations and merchandise products onto shelves according to schematics.
2. Place replenishment orders for designated products.
3. Count, pack, and arrange pickup/delivery of returned goods.
4. Develop relationships with Back Door Receivers.
5. Work with store staff on shelf maintenance and merchandising standards.
6. Construct and display promotional displays and rotate interior signage as needed.
7. Monitor email and voicemail for communication.
8. Practice safety measures when driving.
9. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with store staff.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to use box cutters, scanners, push carts, and dollies safely.
• Must have Smartphone and access to a computer.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Responsible, reliable, and dependable.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work safely and alertly.

Working Conditions

• Work at retail stores in loading/unloading areas and on sales floors.
• Driving in personal vehicle between locations.
• Remote work possible.

Position Details

• Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.56 per mile.
• $25/month phone and data plan reimbursement.
