Job summary

Bernick’s is seeking a part-time merchandiser to cover assigned accounts across Minnesota. You will restock, rotate, face, and remove outdated products while creating attractive in-store displays.

You’ll manage shelves, coolers, and promotions at various accounts including convenience stores and groceries. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, reliable insured transportation, ability to lift 50-100 pounds, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50-100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products.
• Rotate products in backroom and on shelves.
• Transport products between backroom and shelf using provided equipment.
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners.
• Keep back room stock neat and orderly.

About Us: Bernick’s is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.

Job Summary: Our merchandisers are a very important part of making sure our accounts are looking their best. They cover an individualized route of various accounts and are responsible for restocking, rotating, facing, and removing outdated product. Merchandisers neatly organize store shelves, coolers, and design creative displays in our accounts such as: convenient stores, grocery stores, or other large customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment provided
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition

Hours: Part-Time (15-20 hours)

Flexible schedule Monday through Friday, with shifts starting between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Shift lengths range from 2 to 4 hours

• Available to work every other weekend starting at 5:00AM

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license; driving record which meets Bernick’s standard
• Have a reliable, insured form of transportation to be used while working (mileage reimbursement at 64 cents per mile, from the first to the last stop)
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision
• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50-100 pounds
• Repetitively bend, lift, twist while moving product about
• Effectively communicate with store associates
• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:

$17-$20/hr
