Job summary

Summit Beverage is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to stock, rotate and face products in high-volume Montana stores. You will assist delivery teams, build promotional displays, and move stock from back room to sales floor.

Hours are 10-15 per week with flexible scheduling and a company vehicle for store-to-store travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided; prior grocery/retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Montana driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 35lbs. regularly (up to 165lbs. occasionally when handling kegs) and push/pull loaded carts.
• Comfortable on your feet all shift, including time in cold coolers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Grocery, retail or beverage experience is a plus, not required.
• A self-starter who works well independently.

Responsibilities

• Organize back stock and move product quickly from storage to the sales floor.
• Pull outdated or damaged product and flag it for Summit Sales Rep.
• Visit assigned stores each day and finish with a clean walkthrough.

Seeing: Must be able to read pricing tags, product labels, read and interpret documentation. Must be able to see while driving at all times of the day. 75 - 100%

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees and account contacts. Must be able to hear horn/alarms while in account backstock areas.

Standing/Walking: 75-100%

Sitting at Desk / Sitting while driving: 0-24%

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 50-74%

Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: 75-100% (Lift approx. 35-55lbs – push/pull cart approx. 100-150lb)

Grasping/Feeling/Hand Dexterity: 75-100%

Driving & Travel: Between accounts 25-49%

Working Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
